An indoor mask mandate has been issued for Mecklenburg County (which includes the City of Charlotte), effective August 31, 2021.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its recommendation regarding face coverings for indoor public spaces in regions where the coronavirus and especially the Delta variant are spreading rapidly.
