On April 23-24, the Charlotte Symphony presents The Lion King (1994, Roger Allers, Rob Minkoff) starring the voices of Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Matthew Broderick, James Earl Jones, Jeremy Irons, and Nathan Lane.
The Charlotte Symphony will perform the iconic score (featuring the music of Elton John, Tim Rice, Hans Zimmer, and Lebo M) while the film is projected on a large screen above the orchestra.
